Please be advised that the New Awakenings Group of NA will be returning to In-Person meetings at 35 Barnes Road (The Lantern) starting on Friday September 17th, 2021. Meeting will start at 7:30PM and it will be a literature discussion meeting. Please visit the In-Person Meeting page for more information.
Also, the Hope Group of NA will be hosting an online meeting starting Friday September 17th, 2021at 8:30PM on the Zoom Platform. Please visit the Online Meetings page for more details.

The Hope Group of Narcotics Anonymous is changing its Wednesday night Online meeting time from 8:30~9:30pm to 9:00-10:00pm starting on September 22nd. The room will open at 8:45pm for fellowship and the regular meeting will start 9:00 pm and run until 10:00pm. The meeting room will stay open until 10:15pm.

What is the Purpose of the PI Committee?
We perform public relations service to increase the awareness and credibility of the NA program. We share our message openly with the public at large, with prospective members, and with professionals. - NAWS Public Relations Handbook
How do we do this?
NL Area Service committee operates a phoneline, a website and an email list, that is completely staffed by recovering addicts who are volunteers from within the NA fellowship. We also provide information, outreach, and support to the members of the public, media, schools, and community groups who reach out to us.
Who Can Join?
Although some volunteer activities have specific clean time requirements, any member can join and participate in the committee, regardless of clean time.

There is a planning meeting for CCNA being held at 4:30pm August 8, 2021. If you are interested in being a part of or even just learning what is involved in the process of creating and hosting an online National Convention all are welcome. There is room for volunteers from every aspect of recovery and training is provided.

What is the purpose of NLASC Blog?
The NL Area Service Blog is a vehicle to assist the Area Service, its Subcommittees, and Home Groups in the local Area carry its primary message "carry the message of recovery to the addict who still suffers."

Information pertaining to Narcotics Anonymous in the Newfoundland Labrador Area, E.g. Regular Meetings, Area and Sub Committee Meetings, activities,
How are items posted on the NLASC Blog?
Please send and email to firstname.lastname@example.org
In the subject line enter BLOG POST REQUEST.
Email body should include a short description with date, time and and how to access. The NL Public Information Sub Committee will receive the email, review and post.
Can I submit comments for posts?
Yes. Click the Comments link and submit your comments. They will be received by the NL PI Sub-Committee, reviewed, and approved. Comments must be oriented to recovery and uphold the 12 Traditions of NA.
